A Long Week
It seemed like a long week to me. Last weekend Danny, Jeremy & I went to College Station, TX. to attend some Mercedes training on their CAN systems and the factory scan tools for diagnosing those systems. While we learned a good deal it also was occasionally dry and tedious. It also involved a few hours driving and a hotel stay. Jeremy (our new technician) is a very tall fellow and bless his heart the Mercedes ML320 we drove left him with not nearly enough leg room! He had to sit sideways in the back seat. Then when we got to work Monday morning we found our landlord having our parking area repaved and fixing it so that when it rains the water will drain away from our front door. It is a great thing and we look forward to the end result but until completion it is dusty, dirty and a bit of a hassle. The news of the bridge failure in Minnesota was scary as my sister and her family live there. Fortunately they were no where near that event. Of course it was tragic in any circumstances.
I worked on our flyer that will be in the mail in the next week or so. We will be giving away Visa gift cards as prizes in a drawing limited to just flier recipients. The drawing will be held Dec. 14, 2007, just in time for Christmas! The each last 2 years drawings we have not had very many (50-70) entries so if you dear readers get a flier be sure to enter as your chances of winning are great. I guess people are skeptical of these types of things so must just throw them away. There is no catch, I only hope people will physically enter our front door to enter so they know where we are and will get to meet us without needing car repairs.
Be careful in the heat as the temperatures are finally reaching normal for this time of year. Drink plenty of water, wear your sunscreen, take plenty of breaks and just don't over do it.
Thanks again for letting me take the wheel....
Robert
